Brass Fusion returned to one of its favourite venues for a seaside concert in the sun.
The band has become a regular at Rottingdean Terraces Stage, overlooking the sea near Brighton.
As usual, the sun shone on the group and the audience was enthusiastic for Brass Fusion’s varied programme.
Today’s music ranged from Duke Ellington’s Caravan to Black Magic Woman, made famous by Fleetwood Mac and Santana, and the gaming theme tune Skyrim Dragonborn.
There were also solo spots by Sian Buss on sousaphone (Friend like Me from Aladdin), Steve Smyth on trombone (the stage show number, Feeling Good), Martin Buss on trumpet (Spanish Eyes ) and Andy Hodges on flugel horn (Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black).
Special thanks to Trevor Smith for compering the show.
