BF5+ had a very pleasant afternoon playing at Red Oaks for Henfield’s Gardens & Arts weekend.
A great annual event where the village of Henfield comes alive with people opening up their gardens to the public and a wide variety of music and arts at different times and venues throughout the village.

Wow, what a final day we have had!

Played in the Visitor Centre at Giant’s Causeway from 9.45am to 12pm then headed down to the rocks for a photo opportunity.

Once the photos were taken we had the rest of the afternoon free to explore further.

Next, we travelled the coastal road stopping at view points to enjoy yet more of the awesome scenery, including the caves at Cushendun where some scenes of Game of Thrones were filmed.

We’ve had a superb time in Northern Ireland and have yet another successful tour under our belts.

A really rewarding day…

First up was playing and demonstrating to the children at Whiteabbey Primary School.

A stop at King’s Coronation Garden then onto Carrickfergus Manor Nursing Home to give an hour of musical entertainment to the residents in their garden.

Took a short drive to Knockagh Monument to take in the view…

Not exactly as planned!

Due to a cataclysmic admin error by the Game of Thrones Studio PR dept, we couldn’t play as arranged!

They did however honour our studio tour and were very apologetic!

Following the tour we found a bandstand in Jordanstown and, as the weather was perfect, gave an impromptu two hour concert which was well received.

Another great day!

A very relaxed three hours playing at Abbey Shopping Centre.

One of the best acoustics we’ve ever played in…made it really easy!

Ending the day with a lovely journey along the coastal road finishing with a super fish and chip supper at Carnlough harbour.
