Brass Fusion Christmas Concert
Brass Fusion supported Horsham Food Bank at this year’s Christmas Concert.
Admission to the the event at Henfield Hall on Sunday 11 December was by ticket and a bag of groceries.
About 200 items were collected for the food bank.
As usual, the concert featured an entertaining mix of solos, Christmas music and highlight pieces from the group’s musical year.
Christmas by Candlelight
Brass Fusion’s BF5+ quintet joined the Bothy Singers on 1 December 2022 to create a candlelit Christmas concert at St Peter’s Church, Woodmancote.
The group used nearly 200 candles to light inside the church and the path to the entrance.
Both groups enjoyed performing to a full church and there’s already talk of making this an annual event.
Festive shopping
BF5 entertained Christmas shoppers at Notcutts Garden Centre near Ditchling on Saturday 3 December.
School carols
BF5+ was pleased to take part in Burgess Hill Girls School’s Carol Service on 13 December 2022.
The group provided festive music while guests arrived, then accompanied the carols in a packed St Andrews Church.
Red Oaks carols
BF5+ entertained residents at Red Oaks Care Home in Henfield on 23 December 2022.
