Brass Fusion was excited to hear several tracks from its CD being played on Brass Band Radio.
On 1 September, the station played three tracks: Why?, Flourish, and Driving Force.
All were original pieces composed by David Hughes, a friend of the group and resident composer, who died five years ago.
Driving Force, BF’s title track, was written for the group.
Why? was rearranged as a flugel solo for Brass Fusion.
Flourish, a march originally written for a friend, was given to the group to be included on the CD.
